    Complete SA Sport badge group out of the family

    Straight out of the family. SA Sport badge with Leistungsbuch, Urkunde, Gesundheits Befund and Merkheft. All named from the owner Jakob Walther.

      Quite a fine set...but not quite accurate. The Urkunde -- the Award Document -- shown is for a 2nd Issue SA Sport Badge, Bronze Grade, awarded in 1937, while the badge shown is a 3rd Issue SA Sport Badge, a/k/a the SA Military Defense Badge, Bronze Grade, which came into service in January of 1939 and continued throughout the war years.
