I'm sharing this picture of what is apparently an award from the 1941 Youth Sports Competition in Breslau, also known as the Summer Fighting Games. I believe there where Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for each event. This one being the bronze in swimming "Schwimmen Jugend Landerkampf"
"The 5th Summer Fighting Games of the HJ are nearing completion
On the occasion of the fifth summer carnival games and the kiel kiwis, a big rally took place on the castle square in Breslau, in front of the castle of Frederick the Great, by foreigners of Hitler Youth and other foreign guests. Next to the flags of the Reich and the Hitler Youth, the flags of the countries sent by delegations and betting squadrons to Breslau for this great meeting of European youths were streaming in front of the facade of the brightly lit castle. Surrounded by the flags of the empire, the wide square in the light of countless flaming torches offered an impressive picture. During the rally, Reichsleiter Baldur von Schirach spoke. He first welcomed the youth leaders, youth watchers and delegations of the youth of Europe, who came to Breslau to express their comradely attitude towards the youth of the Greater German Reich. In the midst of a war in which Germany and Italy and the powers allied and friendly to the Axis proclaimed the law of a new order of Europe in the face of Bolshevik anarchy and plutocratic democracy, Baldur von Schirach then went on to find ourselves here as youth Europe to unroll the flags of our old common culture. So I magnify in you - delegations of these youth - the new, coming, the greater Europe. t Common ideals connect us: the ideal of the self-management of youth, the ideal of social justice, and the idea of the "fateful" community of the young generation of Europe. We are brothers and sisters in the fight for the freedom of the European spirit against the terror of Bolshevism and against the power of gold."
