    Need Help with New Book

I am gathering information and images for a new book about the NSDAP enameled membership pins. My hope is to have photographic examples from all the manufacturers of these pins as well as period images of them in wear. The history of their development and evolution will be covered as completely as possible. Anyone wishing to help in this endeavor will be credited in the acknowledgments. If interested, please contact me at mike@authenticmilitaria.com

I would like to thank all the members that have replied to my request for help! With the help of everyone I think this book will contain the information we are all looking for! I am still missing some examples though. Please email me at mike@authenticmilitaria.com if you would like to contribute!

If the responses to my request continue as they have, I think I could have the book ready by the Spring of 2006. The book is planned with a smaller, portable format and will be in color. The number of people wanting to help has been increasing daily and is encouraging!

I sent Mike a number of badges for his book ,the badges were returned to me within a week. I would like to encourage anyone who has any of the numbers that he needs to let Mike photograph them for inclusion in his book.He is probally the most knowlegable person I have talked to regarding party badges,he also has by about three times the largest collection of pins that I have come across in over thirty years of collecting them. This book will be a great asset to enamel pin collectors and will lay a lot of myths about these pins to rest. Thanks again Mike and put me first in line for two copies of the book!
