Sorry, Ron...it's too obscure for me!

Best of luck, though, and happy holiday,

Many thanks for your time, effort, and opinion, but the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Germany was founded on July 8, 1948, in Eisenach, Germany.

Die Vereinigte Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche Deutschlands (VELKD) wurde am 8. Juli 1948 in Eisenach gegründet.

        Three years after the War.

        VELKD not VeKd

        Still trying..........

That would make some sense since it is such a remote organization, like the badge, that i cannot find a reference to it.

            Thank you!

                hi ron

it might be hard to say precis what it is, but when you break it down whit the knowledge we already have it might give a hint in what direction you might find the same badges, what it tells me is it the Weimar Reichsadler, it was in use until november 35 and was released by the " official wingspan reichsadler " so its a early cap insignia, the riffling inside the swastika confirms its a early one too, the triangle is mostly used inside industrial or verband category so imo it can be a " verk " cap insignia, and if so then you have several 100 models to search around, some are listed some is sadly not.

the Weimar adler was used by SA in it early time too, but non of these reflect your cap insignia of my knowledge.

so imo your cap insignia is from 33 to 35 between that ill be on lookout.

                hope it helps a bit
