Note how similar the Deutscher Tag in Lahnstein 1933 Badge (posted below to the right hand side) is similar to the SS Badge.............same shape and size..........the Badge is also similar in Design

Similar but also different. Most notably the font typeface for 1933 is different.

I agree, Mil...and there are a number of other differences between these two pieces, as well. While the overall look and size of the pieces appear to be identical at first glance, the bottom of the obverse is very different between the two. There are a number of examples where a particular manufacturer produced a badge for a particular Gau or an SA-Sturm and then duplicated that event's design for a number of other Gaue or Sturms, only changing the name, the date and the location.
