    Welcome to a great Forum

    Tom-

Glad to see that you are becoming a full time member and can share even more Tinies and pieces. This has been a SUPER thread with many contributors who have supurb collections and some just %(&)*& out of this world pieces. I personally am so impressed with our membership, their posts, encouragement, and knowledegeable remarks and contributions.... WOW !!

You know it would be nice to have our own section to post examples with ID's - our own reference library; but I don't think Seba couls find enough room for it !! Just look at the pieces posted in a few of the threads..... great idea though....hhmmm.

Best regards and welcome again Tom - look forward to your posts.

I have to agree with you this is a fascinating thread and we are seeing some cracking tinnie's.Froblers post got me thinking about tinnies on the web in general,so I tried a few searches and guess what, this single thread contains probably ten times more Tinnie info than is available on the whole of the rest of the internet !!As Frobler says it would be great to have somewhere that we could categorise and display examples of as many Tinnies as we could find, something like Tieste's catalogue but online.

      PS Keep them coming guys.

          #2!

At first I thought this mught be WWI, but looking closer there looks to be a shield decal on the helmet. Anyone know for sure? Is this one in a series?? Enjoy the newbies! Mike

                  That's better.

Had to call in the HJ and the Wehrmacht to flush out the Commies.

Deutches Jungvolk in der HJ and a Wehrmacht pin. I know; not really "tinnies".

To make up for it, here's something special:

A KdF pin from the Gustloff.

I used to think this was a big old tinnie...

...but found out later it's a hat badge.

                          Well... here it is:
