    NSDAP Party Badge Deschler

    Hello!
I want to show you this nice badge.
    Great condition, early production.
    Very hard to find.
Is everything ok with it ?
I want to sell it on e-stand ..
    Thanks for your help!

I agree that this is an original piece by an historic manufacturer...but it appears that the pin has been replaced -- the pin has been mounted vertically instead of the usual horizontal direction, and the pin plate is too large for the badge, obscuring part of the maker's name. This is the more unusual since the pin plate -- which has been mounted askew of the Deschler name on the reverse -- bears the same maker's name as the badge. And lastly, the pin itself appears to be too large for the diameter of the badge, with the retainer extending outside of the badge's circumference.

But all things considered, a very nice piece made the more unique because of these exceptions!

          Hello James,

I am sure the pin was never be replaced.
I see no damage on this badge, also no soldering.
The patina on the back is very authentic.
