Here L/61 and FLL badges - note that big ol' fat blob of solder under the catch of the FLL.

Interesting, but I fear you are flogging a dead horse.
          Regards,

Bill, here is the front...I do agree they did use injection molding in pieces and sloppy soldering job on period examples at times, but I feel your examples of the Volkwagen badge are lead-based copies or made of some other flimsy metal and the extra blob of metal at the bottom is characteristic of certain copies where they add the metal to hold in the pin to the copy as a part of the production technique. Note how there are casting flaws around the cogwheel and the crudeness in areas, which is not to say we do not have neat copies, sometimes a vet will pick up a piece here and there after the war and it will get added with his bringbacks.

Torsten, this is the style that is correct imho, it is lightweight and I believe possibly plastic from what I have been told with other collectors I have corresponded with,

              Hello again,

John, I appreciate your help. Here's a party pin I cam across with the same reverse logo. Who is this logo for?

HI William - at first they thought that Logo was S and L, but now they are not sure, John
