    Who's got yellow-bordered Frauenschaft/DAF pins?

I'd like to see some pictures of Reich-Level (yellow border) NS Frauenschaft & DAF pins. I did a couple of forum searches and came up empty -- perhaps I didn't use the right key words.

Anyway, for mayny years I collected these things and only found one yellow-bordered pin: a Type II leader's badge. Since then I've seen perhaps two others like it, but no Type II Staff or Type IIIs of any type. The same goes for the woman's triangular DAF pins. I know they're rare, but someone has to have one or two of these stashed in their collection.

I for one would like to see what's out there. I'll start by sharing my modest collection.

    Thanks!

Scott, I beleive if you look on The Ruptured Duck site on the sponsor list you will find that he has some. Hope this helps. Robert

Thanks for the compliments ... but I know others of you have these pins to show off as well. While I'm especially curious about the yellow-bordered pins, I'd enjoy seeing any other Frauenschaft/DAF collections out there.

Yes, The Ruptured Duck has the some of the nicest Frauenschaft pins for sale in the US that I've seen, although kind of pricy. The big round one in the picture above is a "Deutcher Frauenhilfsdienst" pin. It's a tad over 1.5 inches round and unmarked on the back. I don't know too much about it - it's not listed in Cone's reference.

Thanks -- and show of your pins!

Nice Don! My yellow-border pin has the same markings as yours on the back. Have you ever seen any other type of yellow-bordered pins? (e.g. Type III with the oakleaf border, or like yours with the thin silver edge?)

Yes, I have a friend who owns an example of all the yellow types, all the Frauenschaft versions including the thin bordered, plus the DAF version. I have photos of them in my files but I won't post them without his permission. He is away in Mexico at the moment, if he agrees when he returns, I shall post them if no-one else provides any.

                Cheers
                Don

Don, do you have a close up of the RZM mark on the back of your pin?

A little blurred I'm afraid. Do you have concerns?

                    Cheers

                      Don,
I don't think you can find a better example of a good RZM logo. Also a very nice badge.

Don, would love to see the collection of pins from your friend if he agrees!

Don, the logo looks A+. I was looking at this thread on my computer at work which is not as good as my computer at home when I added the post. It appeared the RZM logo had a single circle that was not broken by the legs of the M. This just tells you how bad my computer at work is! Good looking badge and no concerns at all on the RZM logo. Looks excellent and very nice badge!

Thanks Richard, had me worried for a while, thought I'd missed something

Hello, I have both the type 2 in yellow with wide silver border and w/out border. I also have a type 3 with oakleaves in zinc. I have just joined but will try to post pics soon.
