Golden Party Badge #60979 -buttonhole device

This is an unusual "out-of-the-woodwork" Golden Party Badge featuring the buttonhole device. It is numbered 60979 which I haven't researched. I thought I'd share this badge with the forum. I believe the buttonhole device is rather uncommon. John

It is indeed unusual to find a GPB with a buttonhole stud of any kind, and this stud is more unusual than others I've seen. The badge itself has certainly had a hard life -- post-war, anyhow -- and the condition is quite poor. The photo is reflecting light and is very hard to see what the obverse looks like, and the Fuess-marked GPBs -- which this is supposed to be -- are more commonly faked.

Sorry to say that NSDAP Membership Number 60979 is not ID'd on my list.

Almost certainly jeweler made button hook attachment for the Fuess GPB.

The Deschler’s have a factory attachment, if so ordered.

Can't tell the condition on my tiny screen but as a buttonhole ..... I love it.

I can tell even from the poor obverse photo that it's a good badge.
Personally, I have always like the custom attachment work done on GPBs by their owners.
