    DRL badge in gold for War disabled for review

    I would appreciate peoples views on this badge with regards to its authenticity and its grade. Gold or bronze? It looks very gold in hand.

    It is maker marked Ernst Schneider - Ludenscheid

        I have done some research and I believe this is real. I have checked the few example I can find for sale online and it seems to correspond. I can't seem to find a gold example for this maker, but the bronze and silver examples have the same hardware set up and catch.

        This is of no interest to me, so I would like to list it on Estand. Could more knowledgeable people give me the thumbs up or down? I don't want to land someone with a dud.

          By far, no expert in this area but from an observation.

          Almost appears from these photos that the gold is painted on the wreath.

          This example from another manufacturer shows a different structure to the gold wreath.

                Same logo on flatware

                Good day. A friend of mine from Russia, “a WW2 artifact digger”, how he calls himself, sent me a picture of table knife with same DRL logo as your pin and asked if I can ask on theme forums to identify if it was manufactured or crafted by user. I searched in James A. Yannes book, but did not find such pattern. It looks exactly like your pin. Could someone help me out and tell me more about the knife? TIA.
