sorry about the pics they are all I can get at present. Does anyone have any idea what this is and if it is real? It is being listed as "A very rare "Battle for Silesia 1944" badge" ??

Looks like a lot of the mumbo jumbo badges that I think have come out of Eastern Europe, that lettering is typical on other similar ones I've seen and all have been fantasy badges. I totally agree with Mike about the screw back device, not seen on any period enamelled badges that I know off. Not sure what the length of KVKII ribbon is doing stuck in there either!

It´s a fake!

The inscription "Für die Schlacht für Schlesien 1944" is a very bad german, only speak by polish or russian individuals.

As well as the quality is polish standart, not german pre 1945.
