Jimmy, funny thing I've never even posted such a badge.

Which ones did you have in mind?

Another Jo Rivett edict from on high now bites the dust.

Guys doesn't this place in question his long list of "fakes" that have been accepted as original for years?

      Think for yourselves.

      Thank you Patrick.
Sweeping statement ... you were off the mark on this one as you were on the fakes you tried to push to be real. Bubble bubble font SS -Z / HJ Reichssieger tin job etc etc . I can go on . Ground dug means nothing .. fakers have planted items before and I am sure they will continue. No idea about the badge mentioned in the thread but just because it is “ ground dug “ doesn’t make it legit !

Jimmy you are really Jabnus under another name, right?

I see the same inane hostile writing style that I used to get from Jabnus.

Have not heard from him in a while, so maybe he morphed into you.

Jimmy Jabnus, a very cogent and intelligent response.

That clearly is dispositive of my claim, that you are Jabnus from the Netherlands using the fake name of Jimmy 72.

Interesting you attack me for agreeing with Patrick and have nothing to say about Patrick and his conclusion, these are original Hungarian badges.

By the way Patrick sold one of these Jo Rivett damned Hungarian badges on the Estand as an original.

Any comment on this, Jimmy Jabnus?

Now that Jo Rivett has been expelled Jimmy Jabnus, who is going to do your thinking for you?

Gary you missed the point on the original linked thread- Jo Rivett never condemned this type of badge- he said he believed they were probably original but hadn't been able to examine one.

He condemns the marked ones as already stated which have a different obverse design.

The badge was sold with the discussion thread linked so please don't imply any wrong doing on my part.

Jimmy Jabnus, another inane and useless answer?

You can do better than that Jimmy Jabnus!

                      Give it a try.

What about our esteemed colleague Patrick W, Jimmy Jabnus?

Still waiting your response about him thinking for himself.

Something you can't do in the absence of Jo Rivett's orders.

                      Right, Jimmy Jabnus?

Exactly ! Let’s see how long it takes the old Gardog to figure this out .

Patrick, maybe I misunderstood Rivett's objections.

My understanding was that the black lettered examples were fake, and your posting of the ground dug black lettered example proved him wrong.

If I misunderstood, I stand corrected, though how the reverse hardware on a particular black lettered badge is good on some example, and the reverse hardware and markings on another black lettered example is fake, escapes me, since it would appear the same obverse die was used on both examples.

In any case, there was no animus on my part of your selling that badge, and if anything it was praise. No, "no wrong doing on your part " in the slightest
                          .
In my recent dealings with you, you have been the soul of propriety, and I mean that.

ok thanks Gary - no offence taken

the black lettered ones with closed sunwheel are original no question on those.

the design between the type that started this thread and the maker marked similar ones is different if you compare details of lettering and sunwheel
