    Gold Party Badge set

A big 'un and a little 'un.
Hard to see but they are the same number. Don't so anything with the GPB's, so maybe someone could pipe in with a yea or a nay.
    Thanx,
    Tim

Need much better photos, but I have my doubts about the Fuess. Looks like an "Austrian fake". That would make me doubt the large one too, as the fakes were often produced in sets.

A few things I don't like include the regular letters on the Fuess front, lines over the Fuess oakleaves, tall "C" in Munchen, font of the Fuess number, and the wear to the finish on both.

Better photos will tell the story.

Agree, the Fuess badge is definitely bad.

Large Deschler looks worse the more I look at it. Flat leaves, finish is poor. Probably one of these: http://pages.interlog.com/~sjl/GPB/fakesnew2.html

I think both pieces are bad. As Stephen said, the small piece appears to be an example of the so-called "Austrian Fake GPB," and the oakleaves on the large badge have the raised central vein, which is a long-standing indication of a fake badge.

If you bought 'em, hope you can get a refund quick!

            Thank you for the help.
They're for sale as part of a larger group.
Someone is going to find out that they took a bath and won't be happy, not at all!!!
The only good thing so far is a General Assault Badge!
