A very rare badge in great condition.

I agree with Chen about the value.

6k seems like a good price?

Eitel's badge came in a large grouping, which eventually got split up. But I believe this had an impact on the price.

Does anyone have a photo of the Eitel grouping from SOS before it was split up? it would be interesting to know what was split and where it has all gone to.

No, Chen - i understand that there were other items including a beer stein, and a photo album etc that was not included in the photo. Just wanted to know what was the complete group.

Interesting that the CB that began this thread only shows the RZM logo on it's reverse, though no manufacturer's code. Pieces from the early 1930s that initially came under the RZM system usually had either the maker's license number or the RZM logo and the maker's number w/o the M-code...

Several years ago, and I still regret not buying it then, one languished on the e-stand for a few weeks at $3k. I think time and place make a big difference on what you can get and it will take a hard line political collector with some cash to spend large dollar amounts. These are rare but I don't think the audience is as large anymore. Auctions seem to be a good venue to squeeze the max out of any rare items.
