I have never seen a stick pin like this one. 800 fine silver DRGM marked. Anyone else seen this type.

AH head rings are VERY rare. There is one though that has this almost exact profile!

DRGM would mean it is a patented design in my opinion. Size is small..Comment

slightly complicated with that.. Not exactly meaning a pat. design of something standard of a stic pin design of itself....
Usually,,,usually it is for a protection of a new type of device, a new attachment type, different working of a small device, new type closure etc.
I'd say that is a pre 1933 piece,, so being early maybe that will do..Comment

If really silver why do it have this round plate for the pin. It should have been soldered on directly.
I really don't like the stamps either.
