    opinions please

Hi all....I've been offered a selection of tinnies (among other things) and would like to know what everyone thinks of them. I've only shown a couple here that I can't identify, perhaps someone out there knows what they are.

    Thanks....Tony

Tony my only doubts are about No3, I've never seen a pin attachment like that before.

Thanks Stuart, must admit I'm not happy with the markings on that particular one either. The M/183 seems incorrect, shouldn't it be either M1/83 (Willie Annetsberger) or M1/183 (Schmahl & Schulz). Out of 14 tinnies offered to me, this is the only one that doesn't quite gel. Also in the tinnies was a EK2 Spange (fine) and an early SS jawless cap skull which has been given the thumbs down on the SS forum. The seller has sold me some very nice items in the past & she really isn't into Third Reich stuff, just buys & sells all sorts of stuff from estate sales here in NZ, so she offered them to me at a very reasonable rate. Will take the lot anyway as thats the deal.

                        Cheers.......Tony

I don't like the back of #3 either. It's stamped instead of raised and the RZM logo is terrible. The RZM code should be "M9/183". The M9 prefix was exclusively for tinnies and day badges, as seen in the reverse of #4. Without a prefix number I'd have to say its a repro.

Williwo's description and assessment of the others is right.
