Nuremberg Party Day 1929 Question

I need some advice. I have a chance to by a Nuremberg Party Day 1929 plaque.

Did they plate some of them bronze over a silver medal? This one has all the bronze finish in front but it is silver on the back. Does that sound correct?

Yes they came in both silver and bronze and some also think gold. Some of the silver plaques were .800 marked.

Thanks for your reply Eric. Yes but this one I am looking at is bronze on the front of the plaque and the back is silver . Like the bronze finish has worn off.
