Golden HJ Honor Badge -- Opinions welcome--

    Hi all,

I get this HJ honor Badge ---- I'm quite confident it is a good one, but it would be nice to have the forum's confirmation

For me it's a nice original with rare, low award no.

    All comments appreciated ...

    thx to all Andreas

I'm sorry to say but it is not good. The accepted makers are M1/78, maker marked '15', M1/49, M1 /52 and M1/120. M1/128 is often used by fakers. The really low numbers are usually find with the maker marked "15" Hofstätters.
If you bought this badge, bring it back and try to get a refund. No serious enamel collector will it ever buy it from you if you try to re-sell it.

    Regards, Wim

An HJ Ehrenzeichen with the dots pattern in a clear "Y" form. Normally they are maker marked M1 /67 I believe. IMO the M1/128 is not a very clear "Y" pattern. It's depicted as an original example in one of Forman's old price guides.
