Volkssozialistische Selbsthilfe door plaque.

Socialist People's Selfhelp Rheinpfalz, 1933-34.


The most important socio-political project of the Palatine Gauleiter Josef Bürckel initiated in the summer of 1933.


The People's Socialist Self Help committed any Palatinate to donate a monthly fixed sum of money for government action on the labor market, housing construction, and for the needy.


Due to the fierce resistance from Munich and Berlin, Burckel abandoned his project in the Summer of 1934.

Like everything else, they were reproduced (and mis-identified) in the early '70s.

Yours appears to be a good one IMHO however....
