    Gausieger badge on estand

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=906552

I'm not a fan of this one. Enamel appears white not cream, pin and catch don't look right and the M and A in Markneukirchen appear to be too closely spaced at the bottom of the right leg of the M and the left leg of the A. Additionally it seems highly unusual for a Gausieger badge to have all of the silvering completely gone on both sides of the badge so that it looks more like a bronze Kreissieger badge. Any other opinions?

Well spotted, It's a fake without any questions. Exist as Reichssieger fake and Gausieger.

Questionable badge? Why? This one was bough directly from a high ranked Falange youth meber in Spain, with name and surname. Why should it be a fake? Just asking. The other one, could be a fake, and honestly i didn't know. I checked all the details of the badge for foreigners with the one in Niemann's book and there's nothing wrong with this imho. It also have signs of use like bended eagle wing's edges.

I did not say the badge is fake …. I stated that it is questionable, these badges have been discussed to death

This Gausieger looks so similar to this one:
