Your tinnie shows the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin.

The 2 Months Plan was one of two waves initiated by Goebbels to drastically increase NSDAP membership in Berlin Brandenburg.

On June 20, 1931 a sports competition was planned in the Deutsche Stadion in Berlin, but it was not permitted.

        Great Stuff!

I knew the Forum would come through; this is truly great information - many thanks!

I noticed the Brandenburger Tor as I had visited it in '74 and '79. Wish I could have seen the Deutsche Stadion, but it was replaced by the Olympic Stadium that hosted the '36 Olympics.

Interesting that there was a tinnie produced for an event that never occurred. Wonder if there are any others that survived?

Me too! I have to believe that's a rarer one. I don't have my books with me, can anyone confirm if it's listed in Joe & Chrys's book, or Tieste?

If it's not listed, it's even cooler, imo.

I have the books you mentioned, along with the complete Manion's series, and can't find it in any of those references. REALLY appreciated the in depth historical info from Der-Hase-Fee; excellent background on the actual event.

Guess??? Likely, since the event was never held the majority of the tinnies were destroyed.
