    Items From BDM Girl

Just wanted to put on the forum items from a BDM girl, Margarete Huth, from Bad Hershfeld. In a previous thread I had shown her BDM Leistungsabzeichen Qualification book. From what I know the illustration card is an item given to HJ members at their meetings. The booklet, which has her name, is something that I'm familiar with. Looks like something that you put stamps in until it was full. Any info on these would be nice.
    Best,

      Hi Garry:

You're right, that's exactly what you've got there!

I'm on my phone, so I can't blow-up the photo of the picture, but it looks like a fundraiser to raise money for a tournament outside of Germany? I'll look again when I'm in front of computer tomorrow
      Best,

      Andre

Andre, thanks for the response and info, especially the link to Sparmarkenkart brochure, which I meant to say that i am NOT familiar with.

A savings scheme was introduced for the Hitler Youth in 1940 to replace a previous system from 1938. More info here:

Papers Please got the date and purpose wrong. The type of flags and the unit number on the card show that it can't be from 1934.
