    Fakes from the 1980s I am sorry to say , were being sold as door push boards , if you do a google search you will find a lot the same

          They were common in the late 1960's early 1970's along with a host of different very convincing looking "aged steel" buckles (SS Red Cross L/w etc) here in England then they disappeared until re-appearing about 5 years ago - - - they are nice conversation pieces but no more than that !! They were sold by a company in the West Midlands (Birmingham area) and allegedly used in Govt buildings but i don't see the buckles anymore however.

                I believe it says: "Arno Breker, Berlin..." which is nonsense.
                Agreed that it is fake.

                  They were sold by Nicholas Morigi at one time. I had a couple of them on the doors of my study.

                      The same company made fantasy Disney door plates. My daughter had one I placed on her bedroom door.
