Nice looking 1936 Olympic participant badge. Would appreciate any opinions. Have these been faked. If real any idea of the value.

Hello,
I have seen these before & unless I am mistaken these Olympic badges are considered by most to be bogus, like the other enamelled Olympic badges seen and some of the NSFK and the red cross alpine badge etc. You might do a search on the forum here I think you will find a few threads regarding them.

it`s a fantasy item that never was.......

Interestingly enough, this one is not numbered. All I have seen in the past have had numbers engraved. Apparently the fakers were very industrious on these as the ones I have seen never have a number that is duplicated.
