Would appreciate opinions. IMO this badge is lacking detail. Strange scratches on the reverse. A blob of material in the left corner where the two wreaths meet.

At first look I didn't like it either.
However, I can't find anything wrong with it apart from it being a poor strike.

I dont know much about these but I agree with Stan: other than the slight defects, it doesnt look any different than mine. However, in your case, if you're trying to match it to a gold one (and you're anything like me) the overall condition of both pieces should match so neither distracts from the other. More frustrating and time consuming to collect that way but so rewarding when you do find "mr right"
