Very early NSDAP golden party badge number

    Hi,

I got a very early small golden party badge with number 826!

Someone knows who the number belongs to?

A nice well worn Fuess badge and it seems that more than a few of the early badges are not attributed but maybe you'll get lucky!

Jamie Cross (thirdreichmedals.com) has a list of attributed GPB and 826 is on it, though of course he will charge for the info.

        Hello Mathias,

Nr. 826 belonged to Fritz Greim. I don´t know the former Gau at the moment but I think this can be answered by a few more.

Is it the same Fritz Greim that also held the Blood Order?

A bonus when the recipient was also a BO holder!

Fritz Greim was born on 13.5.96 and held SS-Nummer 39510 as well as NSDAP Membership Number 826; as of the 1938 DAL he held the rank of SS-Untersturmführer. A WWI veteran, Greim also held the EK.1, Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer, and the Im Felde erworbene Landesorden; in the SS he held the SA Sport Badge and the DRL Sport Badge, Silver Grade. He served the SS through Stammabteilung Bezirk 4.

While not a high-ranking political soldier, Greim was a faithful Party Member whose membership dated from at least early 1925, and he may have been a member of the NSDAP or even the DAP prior to the Putsch. A fine and historic relic in any collection!
