Interesting Ron. Does there appear to be evidence of it being suspended as a tapestry? Or perhaps it was a floor covering for their offices or perhaps one of the airships?Comment

No evidence of it hanging, and we have speculated, as you have, that it may have been used as a floor covering indeed!

A spectacular piece, Ron! But as for it's use, it doesn't appear to be large enough to serve as much of a floor covering...I'd suggest that it might have been used for a table drape, or even a piano throw -- and there was a piano on LZ-129 and probably LZ-130, as well...not sure about LZ-127...
