This stickpin came in a group I acquired. The others are known (by me) and authentic to period. However, a very good friend told me there are some good fakes circulating of this piece.

A good Treuewerkabzeichen , employee badge of the DAF Luftfahrtbetriebe. Everything looks right on this badge. Jo Rivett did a great article on these badges and straightened out the misconception of these being an honorary award. Anyway , good score !

Picked up these two stick-pins last week, "Deutsche Wehrmacht Luftwaffe Angestellte + Arbeiter" and "Treuewerkabzeichen" showing them together as they came from the same man. Concur with Jimmy72 (post4) Jo Rivett wrote a excellent article on these Treuewerkabzeichen badges - a much missed contributor, possibly one of very few collectors who do any in-depth research into small enamel badges at all - in the article he does state, not mentioned so far in the thread, that Treuewerkabzeichen with raised lettering - Ges. Gesch. are fakes, only indented lettering is good. I'm pointing, this out, personally I've no great knowledge.
