I saw this at a show and have never seen one like it. Outrageously expensive and I cannot find any reference to any other than the silver award pieces. Any thoughts?

The front looks the same as the postwar pieces in silver colour, the reverse with that cutout reminds me of the Volkswagen badges.

I certainly did not buy it. I only know of one original maker, after making a mistake on the type with push type safety catch.
There is always some new variation rearing its head to deceive.
