From last weekends fleamarket, any idea what they go for?

I don't own a price guide so from that perspective I cant help. However, I have spent this weekend going thru my tinnies to rearrange them according to category and have neither of these. Combine that with the amount of websites I have viewed without seeing them I would logically conclude that these are uncommon. I cant give a $ value especially in these times. If they were my recent finds I would hold them for sure at least until all the economic turbulence subsides. Enjoy them......you were fortunate enough to find them....Well done. Robert

PS I have often wondered just how the "experts" with their price guides come to a determination of value. Other than what is obvious, just what is the criteria, which changes on a daily basis.

There are no reliable price guides out there for tinnies, although I like Reinhard Tieste's book for simple identification. In his book , he puts a price of 35 euros on your HJ tinnie, but he pretty much puts about a 20-40 euro estimate on all tinnies. Even then, the last edition of that book came out in 2006, unless there's been another edition since then. I like Hj tinnies and tend to buy any that I don't have, of course depending on the asking price, which can vary quite a bit.No, I don'r have your Hj tinnie either.

      Best,
      Garry Nelson
