Please Help! Unknown Stick pin? V.D.F. ?

Hi, I need some help with this stick pin I have searched the net extensively and have not been able to find a single example like it. I bought it at a well established UK Militaria collectors fair from a dealer who specialises in reference books but also had a few badges and pins on his stand. I bought this mystery pin along with a nice N.S.B.O. pin for only £20 for the two as it was late in the day and the guy was packing away. He didn't know what this pin was either but due to the V.D.F. lettering and the design we both thought maybe it was some sort of Radio broadcasting organisation or similar. I can find no reference anywhere to V.D.F. or D.V.F. I suppose it could be post war but the quality of construction, finishing and use of red, black and white colours to the design suggest to me 3rd Reich or possibly Imperial? There is a makers mark (M.Fleck & SOHN) and (HAMBURG 3) and at the top (800) which I presume is for European 800 silver proofmark, which would make it silver gilt. The oval badge measures 19mm high x 13mm wide and the pin is 47mm long. The enamel is real glass not modern cold enamel and the over all quality is very good and looks Third Reich period to me. Please look at the pics which are as good as I can get them and any opinions or ideas as to where else I could search would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks, Andy. image hosting over 5mb pic upload img upload free upload

This should be related to Deutscher Funk Verband (DFV). Per Wikipedia, it existed between early 1970s and 1980s.

Hi,
Thanks very much for your reply der-hase-fee Strange how I couldn't find anything on my searches but it's really nice to get some information about this pin, It has been driving me nuts trying. Though sadly not a much earlier piece I will enjoy researching it and the makers further and I can now put it with my other post war German items where it belongs.
Again thanks so much for your input, so glad I joined this community.
Andy.
