Hi!

This is a miniature-needle of the badge for a "Sprengelleiter", a lower grade of the party officials of the "Vaterländische Front" (see post 15 by SMV).

Here is the large version.

The "CDTV" stands for "Christlich-Deutscher Turnerbund Österreichs", that means "Christian-German Gynasts Association of Austria". As these gymnast-associations of that area always had also a political and military component, there is also a "Wehrabzeichen" (instituted in 1934, the year of the Austrian civil war) as You can see below. Hope You don't mind for hijacking Your thread!
