    Copy

    From front of back.
Only a view know how an original one looks.
    I will not tell details.

My knowledge comes from a BO group of the JS.
Jon knows what I am talking.
Other ones on the market are also crap and offered for high money.

      I agree.

There is only one type of Jungsturm AH badge that I would want for my collection and it is not this one.

Looks like a silver cast copy to me.

From what I have seen, I believe the originals are bronze/copper color and have a completely different pin and hook setup on the reverse.

The bronse color example, I examined, has much more clear and sharp detail than do all the silver colored types I have seen.

Does anyone have any further information on the originals?

                Hi Bob,

There are some being discussed on a russian website. A google translator could help translate the text to English. Now i regret not paying close attention to my Russian classes.

                  Old topic bump? Why Bob?

Wasn't there a good topic on these Jungsturm badges a few years ago? I remember somewhere a discussion. These were among the rarest of the rarest badges, until the past years when we've suddenly seen a number of them showing up every now and then. I would not like to have the one in the first post.

A friend obtained an origjnal that was a US vet brought back piece. I have it in my possession and have been able to examine it. It matches what originals should be. I just wondered if there was any further study.

@ Military: There is only one original posted on the Russian forum.

                      Confused?
And what should originals be, Bob? This is of particular interest and importance, because the "original" prototype Blutorden youhave, and say is genuine, is poorly cast in silver, like the badge that starts this topic off - which you don`t agree is genuine.

Regarding that forum and the image you mean.....(i believe i know which one) Keep in mind what Beck Militaria turned into a few years before it closed!

                        Beck's is original.

No need to be cheeky. But I would like to hear Mr. Hritz opinions of the so called prototype. Perhaps in the active thread on the Political Organization forum.

So Beck's is/was the one from Robert and is the ONLY KNOWN Original? Is this the consensus?

Which would make identifying all badges on the WAF forum and google easy as they are mostly silver colored and thus instantly fake? (besides the slightly bronze one from Ailsby, but i would not like to have that one). Most also have horizontal pins...?

I remember somewhere a publication from ages ago, maybe Patzwall again? And i know for sure it's in one of Ailsbys books too. I know i dug into these a few years ago. Will dig in a few days for articles/sources. Somewhere something was published.

It appears there's lately an increase in topics on extremely rare early badges. I would so love to see a micro report on a few of these awards!
