    Golden Party Badge

Any success in identifying GPB holder number 9570?
The holder had great difficulty protecting the pin - twice
    broken!

A very nice piece, and a nice low number, too. Broken pins are not uncommon with the small GPB, and especially with the Fuess-marked variety, which this one is. Sorry to say that this number is not attributed on my list.

      Best of luck,

      Br. James

        .

Thanks very much for the info in any event.

The broken pin did serve, however, to lower the asking price for the item
so much so that I was forced to buy it!!

as opposed to the military pin through which it slipoed through two loops the civilian style was constantly being pinned and un pinned through pretty thick German wool lapels...no foubt they snapped after just s few changes.

That makes sense - I'm now surprised that more don't have replacement pins.

Many do have custom pin attachments.

The badge had once been priced twice as much as Rob is asking for it. So you are doing well if he's giving you a discount !

If your referring to a certain site it was sold on before...just so you know they change the prices (like most dealers sites) of sold items over time. In other words they go back and play around with the price for various reasons. I have seen this happen over time (and on that particular site) so I don't trust the "sold" prices as being the final realized price, ever.

Do let us know if you fine out who NSDAP Number 9570 belonged to.

                    Cheers,

                    Br. James
