As you state, it really depended on where you lived at the time!
Being a British person, I would go for the "wanted for murder" pin!
However if I lived in Germany at the time, I would probably go for the "Fuhrer" pin.
My wife is German, I visit Germany regularly - I can see things from "both sides", but most Germans today do not want to think about the TR period, finding it embarrassing and shameful to talk about.
They want to get on with their lives, but find that the past is always with them.
Hitler did some good for Germany in the early days, but after dragging the German people into WW2 and the Holocaust he was hated by most ordinary German people.
Probably get "hate mail" for saying this
but there you go!
