I would sincerely appreciate any opinions as to the authenticity of this larger size Golden Party Pin. Can anyone tell me who it would have been given to based on the serial number? Thanks.

Yes, indeed it is a good one, and in lovely condition, too! According to my list, this GPB was awarded to Parteigenosse August Hagelstein...though that is all the information I have about this NSDAP Membership Number. This badge is certainly worthy of having one of the professional researchers do a formal look-up on it; it was held by a member of one or more of the uniformed organizations, so that should make the effort the more profitable. Do let us know what else you may find out about Pg. Hagelstein.

I have the same info Br. James, but with the notation that Hagelstein was a resident of Eutin in Gau Schleswig-Holstein.
