    Flight Day tinnies - recent acquisitions - Part 2

    1) N.S. Flugtag Bayreuth Wagnerfestspiele 1933

    A very scarce Badge for an Event of huge personal significance to Adolf Hitler, Bayreuth was chosen to stage this particular Flugtag (Flight Day) Event due to the fact that German Composer Richard Wagner was Adolf Hitler's favourite Composer. Bayreuther Festspiele (Bayreuth Festival) did and I believe still does to this very Day hold Festivals Annually which stage Performances of Opera's by Wagner, the 19th Century Composer.
    In the background of the Badge one can see the Bayreuth Festspielhaus, the German Theatre House that Richard Wagenr himself was instrumental in Designing.

          Hello, thank you for the kind comments................yes the Erfurt Badge looks even better in hand. I did plan to post more Today however it has been a truly horrendous day for me hence I was sidetracked. Hopefully I can add a few more Tomorrow (too late now as here In England It's now after Midnight)

                  Very nice badge ! Found one in my "keller" with out the needle , but its a really cool badge. Does anybody know how often there were made? Or for which date of flyday they made. Or which person becomes this badge?

                          Very nice flight tinnies! The Landsberg one was one I was strongly considering, back when it was available, but I had too many other buys happening at the same time; I'm happy to see it went to a great collection, owned by a great collector!
