SA Military Sports Badge for War-wounded

NSDAP awards aren't really my thing but I recently acquired an SA Military Sports Badge for War Wounded. I know it was instituted in 1943 and that examples exist in bronze/tombak and feinzink but what were the award criteria?

Was it awarded to men who passed certain physical tests despite their wounds/disabilities? Or was it given to war-wounded combat veterans who held the normal SA Sports Badge through prior service with the SA? Such as members of the Feldherrnhalle Regiment, for instance?

I've never seen any German language award regulations for this badge--or the National Sports version, and would be interested to see what those requirements actually were, compared to "normal" badges.

The National badges had different requirements for women, and for blind persons (even before the war--but all the regs state is "write in for requirements for blind competitors if you need them" in the regulations).

Hope this discussion sheds a little light on the general qualifications because I would certainly like to know.
      If its any help.
Angolia (in Political and Civil Award...) states that:
"On 15 December 1943 the specific criteria were announced" ... "The person had to meet a set of standards commensurate to his disability, which was establised on an individual basis by a competent medical authority".
Sounds like bureaucratice gobbly-gook. But per Angolia the tests were based on the SA Sports Badge requirements.

Point 2: There was much discussion on the maker(s) of the badge in previous threads. Again Angolia states:
It appears that the badge was only produced by Deschler & Son of Munich."
Again the keys words 'appears' and 'only'.

When I get my digital camera working again I'll post pics of my two zinc badges and their specs; An M1/100 and M1/52.
      Regards,
      CJ

Although I cannot remember my source on this, I thought that the SA Sports Badge for War Wounded could also be awarded to, and worn by, those individuals who had previously won the SA Sports Badge but whose wounds prevented them from re-qaulifying for it.

Thanks for the replies. And thanks especially to CMagnifico for taking the time and trouble to post the images and dimensions. Mine's marked M1/100. Can you e-mail the images directly as I couldn't access them though your image host? I'll send you my e-mail address.

                  Well here goes again.
Apparently a lot of sites hosting web pages restrict Image Remote Loading. Now they want to charge $$.

So I put up a page with the Photos last night.

                  Go to http://SgtMaggit.home.att.net/CJsMilitaria.html

Mine's got a coke-bottle pin. I don't know if the M1/100 examples had other types of pin assembly. I've seen less than five original SA War Wounded Sports Badges in 25 years.
