    medal help

Please be patient im new here. I got this medal as something left to me from a family member. I dont know much about it except the writing on the medal itself shown in pictures. Before I throw it up on ebay I just want to be sure what I have. I do know its not a reproduction or a fake its been i my family for a while. I have seen a few of these but none have the pin that matches the medal.

Any advise or help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for any info.

Glad someone mentioned that. I forgot about eBay policies. Does anyone know
Anything about it such as value or if the pin makes any difference. Thank you all
                In advance

                  Is this a table award/plaque?

A rare original cased 1929 RPT plaque. Unfortunately the case has a broken lid but sill a very nice set. Most cases examples that you see are fake.

The pin is not related in any way. It is a piece of (very nice) jewellery, either a tie pin or a cut down hat pin from the 1900's.
                      Regards,
                      Pete
