    SS Membership Pin

    Today is my dads birthday and we went to an aviation museum and I found and got this pin. It is a replica ss membership pin and I was wondering how do you get this pin. Do all ss members get this pin? Or do only certain people get this pin? Here is a link to a picture of it.

    I think it is meant to be the SS-Zivilabzeichen - a small black enamel and silver stickpin for General SS members in civilian clothes. There never was one in black and white enamel. Allgemeine SS members could buy it.

            looks like the enamelwork is painted on (it's hollow). Normaly it has to be one layer (smooth surface), without the metal rims.
