    Volkswagen grundsteinlegung pin - fake?

    I bought this pin recently at a show in Atlanta, Georgia. Now I'm having second thoughts as to its originality. I'd be interested in any opinions as to whether this is a reproduction or not. What are the key areas to look at?

      I would like to bring this topic back to the top since I want to buy a nice " Grundsteinlegung des Volkswagenwerkes in Mai 1938". I want to study them a bit before buying one.
      Is the badge shown underneath a good one or is it once again a known fake ?
