I can't answer the inquiry as to the identity of the owner, but I am wondering about the red lettering on this one, although the badge is spot on otherwise. Usually the badges show silver colored letters , so can anyone shed some light on how or why this example has letters the same color as the background and seem transparent ?

Think it's the photo because this badge is 100% original.

NSDAP Membership Number 70385 was held by an SS officer named Hans Summerer. Hope this is helpful. And the badge is quite a beauty!
