    any opinions on this reverse please ?, could it have a replacement catch plate or is it as is from the factory ? many thanks Terry

      Terry, you can clearly see the round solder-stain where the correct attachment was first fitted. This was a personal conversion, or a personal replacement.

                  nothing wrong with period repairs and custom pin attachments. I kinda like them that way because it shows how important the award was to the recipient rather than him throwing it in a drawer when the pin broke.
