Hello,
I believe that the pin on this badge is considered to be the "coffin Pin Plate" shape and therefore the badge is a bad one. Not sure if an actual badge like this existed. I have seen other SS/SA competition badges with the same skier view etc but forget whether they were with the wording and berchtesgaden as shown here. In any case with this pin set up this one is a fake.

Agree. "Coffin Pin" means no good. Sorry.
