    Blue HJ Diamond Ground Dug

Buried in the 70's or a period piece? A blue HJ Diamond was dug up. Could not see any "otto Hoffman" markings.

In the last part of this movie where he shows all his findings, it looks more like a normal dark red HJ rhomboid instead of blue.

            Hi guys,

Initially on excavation the HJ badge does look blue, but on cleaning it is clearly red.
Had it been in blue, it would have been a modern fake - all HJ badges were red; blue reproductions began appearing (at least in the UK) around the late sixties and early seventies and all blue "HJ Marine" badges are bogus.

            Best wishes,

            John.

              RZM M1/27 HJ Diamond

The item dug up was an RZM M1/27 Hitler Youth Diamond. A great reference thanks to the person who made the video being nice enough to take pictures and send them to me.
