It appears that Post war someone has over painted the Standard and the Lettering. However IMO this does not detract too much from the value of the Badge due to the fact of how rare the Badge is ( I have never see another one)

Firstly thank you for the comments. To be honest the Picture doesn't do the Badge much justice as in hand the quality of the Badge is awesome. I am in two minds whether to remove what I believe to be post war over painting, albeit I am leaning towards " Let sleeping Dogs Lie"
Although not Dated IMO going by the Design I reckon the Badge is Circa 1931. The reason I arrive at this conclusion is because I have Several other examples (albeit not SA) TR Era Badges that are Triangular in shape all of which are Dated 1931.
I would love to hear if anyone else has ever come across this particular Badge or even better if they have an example they could Post.
