I have always felt that these are a fantasy rip off of the HJ tinnie that has a similar design. It's like the HJ ski badge that is floating around out there...it is a fantasy version of an original tinnie design.
The problem is that many of these enamel 'upgraded' tinnies have been in reference books for decades...so many just accept them as originals.
Just my .02 cents....
