Unless there is accompanying paperwork or the seller got it from the family (and thus knows their names) it's as Erich says near impossible to track it down. The BO names list is one of the most sought after and desired lists by BO collectors.

Can you please post pictures of the medal? I have #3545 and love to compare numbers that are (relatively) close.

The names of those awarded 2nd pattern BOs is known but not the numbers that go with the names except for a few exceptions.
