    Hitler Youth Marine Diamond

Well at least he knows it's a repro. I still see these being sold as originals.

Description is still wrong. It is a complete fantasy badge. The HJ marine used the same red badge as the rest, there was never a blue HJ Diamond at any time. The maker is also bogus, Otto Hoffmann was a manufacturer of cloth for HJ/BDM arm-triangles.

Yes of course, it never existed. I saw one mounted in a HJ knife recently being sold as original and at some stupid price.

          Hi,

It's crap to be inexperienced and ripped-off!
If I was a young person, I probably would not collect TR due to the number of fakes around.
A great hobby, but high risk

          Best wishes,

          John.

Yes, but the normal laws of what existed or not, does not apply to the Godfathers of knives and daggers. Here is one with a green diamond that Johnson was trying to sell on his site for a lot of money a few years ago.

image courtesy of the HJ forum.

The blue`s we have also seen over at the HJ-Research forum, as well as plenty of other humped out and just plain outright fantasy combo`s.

@Feldpost, the dealers, especially the nice, pleasant, well spoken old ones, make their bulk sales off newcomers, and in general are out to fleece collectors wallets. They will tell you what they think fits the item, and what will help it sell.
The new collector needs to engage brain, and not turn up on a forum after the fact, and cry about his blue or green knife.

I checked on the dealers website where I saw the HJ knife with the blue and white diamond being sold as a HJ Marine knife and it has sold. He was asking £495 for it.
